Corrections & Retractions Policy

Effective Date: October 2026 • Last Updated: October 2026 • Governance: TruthUpfront Media Standards Directorate
🌐 TruthUpfront Media Network Corrections SLA

This Corrections and Retractions Policy governs error remediation on TruthUpfront Tech (tech.truthupfront.com) under the network-wide accountability framework of the TruthUpfront Media Network:

1. Commitment to Technical Accuracy

At TruthUpfront Tech, factual precision in technical specifications, clock speeds, benchmark figures, and security vulnerabilities is essential. When an error is identified, we correct the historical record promptly and openly.

No Stealth Edits: We never quietly alter numbers, rephrase conclusions, or remove text without appending a clear, timestamped editorial correction note.

2. Hardware Benchmark Updates & Driver Re-Testing

In the rapidly evolving computing sector, firmware updates, graphics driver releases, or microcode patches can significantly impact hardware performance post-launch:

  • Post-Launch Performance Shifts: When vendor patches alter performance by more than 5%, we re-run benchmark workloads and append a dated "Updated Benchmark Notice" detailing the changes alongside the original launch data.
  • Silicon Defect Disclosures: If a tested processor, GPU, or battery is subsequently subject to manufacturer recall or advisory, an alert box is placed at the top of the article.

3. Our 24-to-48-Hour Error Resolution SLA

Our editorial team triages reported technical errors within 6 hours of receipt. Inquiries are investigated against lab logs and vendor documentation within 24 hours. Validated errors are updated with an explicit correction notice within 48 hours.
